I want to thank everyone for your patience while we have been getting things up and running with the boys soccer program. Our uniforms have arrived and we are in the process of receiving our equipment. We have a couple of weeks of open play left before USHAA rules prohibit us from having any activities until January. So here are the plans for the remainder of November and beyond:
With the favorable weather this week we are going to play outdoors on the turf (stadium) on Thursday, Nov 7th. We will start at 2:30 and go until 4:00.
The following week (Nov 11-15) we will go indoors and play futsal on Tuesday and Thursday mornings for the remaining two weeks. The start time is 6:00 a.m. and we will go until around 7:15. The activity is open play futsal, so please make sure the boys show up in court shoes – NO CLEATS.
Please note that these are open play events. They are optional and are not part of team tryouts which happen at the end of February (beginning the 24th).
The moratorium begins the week of Thanksgiving and will continue until January, at which point we will pick back up with futsal in the auxiliary gyms on A days – 6:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. For all activities between now and the end of the year the schedule is up-to-date, so you can visit the Boys Varsity Soccer page for details.
