Crimson Regiment Band, Percussion Band · Crimson Regiment: Info for June 1st Pony Express Days Parade

Parade Schedule and Information:
Parade Start and End Location:
The parade will begin and end at Ridley’s Grocery Store at 4045 Pony Express Drive. Come into the parking lot from the traffic light on the East end by the Credit Union and Ace Hardware, then park or drop off and walk to the staging area on the West side of the parking lot (Starbucks and Ridleys side).  Students can be picked up in the same location you drop them off.
What to Wear:
Winds and Percussion:
Students must wear the Collar Shirt and Shorts that will be handed out on May 31st at rehearsal. They must also wear LONG black socks  (no ankle socks) and their marching shoes. If they would like to wear sunglasses they may. Students who show up without the proper attire will not be permitted to march with the band.
Colorguard will be given a uniform on May 31st that will be worn for the parade the next day.
When and Where:
Students need to report the the staging area at Ridley’s Grocery Store no later than 8:30 am. Roads will close, so please be on time! I am unsure how much parking will be available for students who choose to drive themselves. My suggestion would be to have someone drop you off. You can pick up your student following the parade. We are approximately entry number 36 in the parade. If everything goes well we should be done in an hour from start time, it starts at 10am.
Those using School Instruments:
Those using percussion equipment or other instruments will take their instrument home the day before. We will discuss the best way to get them after the parade and have that information for you on May 31st.
If you have any questions please feel free to send me an email.
