Girls Junior Varsity Soccer, Girls Varsity Soccer · Meet The Girls Soccer 2019-2020 Staff

As open fields are right around the corner, here is a chance to meet some of the coaching staff of the Cedar Valley Aviators Girls Soccer Program.

Head Coach: Mitchell Hart

Mitchell was born and grew up in Kent, England and has played soccer since he was the age of 5. Mitchell moved from club into Maidstone United Academy at the age of 16 where they competed in the National League Under 19 Alliance and played many teams around England as well as practicing full time and completing his Level 1 and 2 FA Coaching Licenses. In that season, Maidstone won the league and lost in the National Academy Cup Semi Final. Mitchell got recruited by Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa in the USA to compete in the NAIA Division 1. In his 4 years at Graceland, Mitchell received accolades in NAIA Defensive Player of the Week and Athlete of the Month. After graduating from college, Mitchell moved to Saratoga Springs, Utah with his wife Adison where he coached for Sparta and Westlake. This year, Mitchell coached the Westlake Girls Provisional team as well as assisting with their first ever State appearance in school history. Mitchell, along with Brady, coached the Westlake JV boys team to a 10-3-3 record as well as being the Varsity Goalkeeper Coach. Mitchell also coaches 2 Sparta club teams at the 07 and 08 age group competing at State Cup. As well as his European Licenses, Mitchell holds his Grassroots and USSF National D license.

Scott played competitive club soccer growing up in Texas and Florida. He played 3 years on Varsity soccer in high school.  He also played on the University of Utah men’s club team for two years and now has his National D coaching license and has been coaching youth soccer for nine years.  His team (full of boys now playing Westlake Varsity) had a good amount of success over the years. They won every major tournament at least once, with the exception of State Cup, where we were semi-finalists twice.  We won a Regional futsal tournament and went on to compete at the National Finals in Anaheim where we finished 3rd.  Scott spent one year as a staff coach with the boys ODP program and most recently, He was an assistant coach for the ’05 Sparta premier girls, who also won many local tournaments, competed in the Farr West Regional league, and finished the year as State Cup semi-finalists. We are excited to have Scott on board with us.

Assistant Coach: Brady Wycherly

Brady Wycherly has been coaching club soccer for 10 years and holds the USSF National D license.  In 2019 he coached JV at Westlake HS and helped guide them to a 10-3-3 record.  In addition to coaching soccer, he enjoys playing music with his band, Groovy Mule.  A 20-year resident of Saratoga Springs, he and his wife, Shari, are raising three soccer players of their own: Jacob (17), Gavin (16), and Carson (13).  Brady will also be the boys varsity coach at Cedar Valley in the spring of 2020.
