We are excited to announce leadership for the 2019-2020 Crimson Regiment Marching Band. We had many qualified individuals audition for many leadership positions. It is always hard to come to a conclusion because of this. However, we feel like these individuals have the attributes and qualities necessary to start the inaugural year of the Crimson Regiment off in the right way. Just a few side notes about some of the leadership positions. After careful consideration we’ve decided to hold off on announcing percussion leadership positions until after May in order that Mr. Murphy can be present to help choose those positions. Also for those who auditioned that receive a leadership role there are still multiple crew chief positions to be filled. We will be talking to you individually to see if you would be willing to fill one of those roles.
Leadership Results: (In no particular order of importance)
Olivia Stewart: Drum Major
Kaeli Archibald: Drum Major
Chloe Furse: Colorguard Captain
Kaila Butler: Woodwind Captain
Joseph Ducos: Brass Captain
Colton Case: Low Brass Section Leader
Erin Free: Clarinet Section Leader
Matthew Lunsford: Historian
Again all other leadership positions will be filled in the coming weeks after we have had time to speak with students individually.
Thank you to those students who came out to audition for a leadership position. We were inspired by your responses and excited for things to get started with marching band.
